Tinnitus Research is a special text in Vinciane Despret’s work. It is not an essay or a critical text, but fiction. However, the axis of the story runs through the concerns and desires that have always mobilized the author: the relationship between living beings, interspecies communication, the protocols of scientific research or the arts to live on a damaged planet.

The text has been published in Spanish as part of the program Art for a Planet in State of Emergency, which is currently underway at the Kirchner Cultural Center (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
