Lecture by Jordi Costa on the occasion of the exhibition “Fernand Léger and modern life”

Conversations

Lecture by Jordi Costa, writer and cultural critic.

Fernand Leger and modern life hosts the largest retrospective in Spain of the French author (Argentan, 1881-Gif-sur-Yvette, 1955), considered a classic of the avant-garde and one of the renewers of Cubism, a contemporary of Picasso, Braque and Juan Gris.

Co-produced with the Tate, where it was exhibited until 17 March, it brings together more than a hundred pieces from museums such as the Tate, Pompidou, Victoria & Albert, Moderna Moseet, the Le Corbusier Foundation and the Reina Sofía.
