The main aim of the teaching workshops is to encourage immersion in the processes of creation and in the genesis of the works exhibited.

Art education has traditionally been polarised either towards expression, in the form of workshops based on free creativity, or else towards the recognition of works, artists and styles.

The products of art tend to be considered like any other object of disciplinary knowledge. Exclusively analytical methods of reasoning are used, when a fundamental requirement in order to enter into the phenomenon of art is to make a synthetic approach based on experience.

It is true that no understanding is possible without planned, conscious observation, but it is also true that for an aesthetic experience to take place the observation must be sensitive perception. This may lead one to reflect either about the products of art or about reality seen in terms of specific aesthetic principles.
