RAIMUNDO AMADOR
Raimundo Amador Fernández is a Spanish guitarist and composer. He merges flamenco with other musical styles, such as rock or blues.
He has been the founder of highbrow music groups, such as Veneno (1977), together with his brother Rafael and Kiko Veneno, or Pata Negra, only with his brother. He learned flamenco from the best ones: the Montoya family, Paco de Lucía or Camarón, who initiated him into the flamenco-rock experience.
After the dissolution of Pata Negra, he began his solo career working as a guitarist and singer, and developing the style he had already created. He is always accompanied by excellent musicians, both in his concerts and in his album collaborations: Antonio Carmona, Remedios Amaya, Enrique Morente, Lole y Manuel, Tomatito, Sorderita, Ketama, Kiko Veneno, Juan Perro, Andrés Calamaro, Mala Rodríguez, or the master of blues, B. B. King, who participated in his first solo album (Gerundia, 1995).
