IKEBANA is the Japanese art of creating flower arrangements. To compose an arrangement is a practise that develope the individual creativity. The arranger deals with natural materials that provide joy and pleasure with their peculiar shapes and colors. It is a delightful practise both for the ones who practise it and for the ones who enjoy the arrangement displayed. This workshops is composed by a demonstration and four Ikebana workshops Demonstration January 12th This demostration develops the creation of eight arrangements showing some different Ikebana styles as Moribana ( with its three variations) Shoka Shofutai, Shoka Shimputai y Jiyuka. Workshop January 13th-16th These four workshops altogether form an introduction to the Ikenobo School. The rules and technics will be explained in every workshop in order to be practised by the pupils who will compose creatively a classic Ikebana arrangement.
